The Jammu and Kashmir government has set new guidelines for pilgrims to the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple with an aim to prevent the spread of coronavirus. According to the order, valid and verified RT-PCR and rapid antigen test is mandatory for devotees. Not only this, the test report should not be older than 72 hours from the arrival of the passengers.
It has been said in the order that the Kovid Protocol should be strictly followed. Only those travelers will get the privilege of visiting Mata Vaishno Devi, in which no symptoms of corona infection will be found. Apart from this, it has also been said in the order that the cleanliness of the temple should be taken care of and sanitization should be done from time to time.
87 new cases of corona in Jammu and Kashmir
It is to be known that 87 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, after which the total number of infected people in the state increased to 3,31,386. No new cases of death due to infection were reported during this period. Officials said that 4,429 people have died due to this deadly virus in the Union Territory so far. At the same time, 13 cases were reported in Jammu division while 74 new cases were reported in Kashmir division.
1.75 lakh active patients of corona in the country
Officials said that there are currently 814 active patients in Jammu and Kashmir. Whereas so far 3,26,143 patients have been cured of the infection. Meanwhile, 15,786 new cases of corona infection were reported from across the country. While 231 patients died during this period. In the last 24 hours, 18,641 people were also cured of the infection. After which the number of people who have recovered from Corona so far has increased to 3,35,14,449 in India. The Union Health Ministry said that the active patients of COVID-19 in the country have now come down to 1,75,745.
