State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released the notification of SCERT Punjab ETT Admission 2022 for Two Year Diploma Courses in Elementary Education in government and private affiliated institutions of Punjab. State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab conducts the admission process of D.El.Ed/ ETT courses every year for the eligible candidates. Accordingly, the authority has released the process of Punjab ETT Admission 2022-24 for admission in Diploma courses like Elementary Education D.El.Ed, and Elementary Teacher ETT for a period of two years. The online application registration process has already started in July and the authority is going to start the merit list. So the Punjab D.El.Ed Admission 2022 process is being conducted on merit basis and applicants have to fill the application form and apply for it. Qualified candidates will further be called for the counseling process to allot their seats.
Punjab D.El.Ed/ETT 2022-24 Eligibility Criteria
- Passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST category. Any candidate who will not appear in the qualifying examination with subsequent re-appear/compartment/result etc. will not be eligible to apply.
- Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination can also apply subject to the above conditions.

As per the decision of Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, the upper age limit for General Category candidate will be 36 years as on 15-07-2022.

D.El.Ed/ETT 2022 Merit Criteria
As per NCTE rules, General category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent will be eligible. SC/ST students will be given a relaxation of 5% in marks. Admission will be on the basis of merit. Merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2. No additional marks will be given for higher education.
Candidates must have passed Punjabi up to Matriculation level. In order to ensure high quality standards, any candidate who has not passed the Class X examination in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics subjects may not be eligible to apply for admission in D.El.Ed. will not be eligible.
