CTET Exam Qualification
Primary Stage (Class IV)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed OR 2-1 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- Passed or appearing in final year of Diploma in Education (Special Education). either
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Secondary Stage (Class VI-VIII)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). either
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). either
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks or passed or appearing in final year 4-A/B.Sc.Ed or BAEd/B.Sc.Ed. either
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (special education).
