UPTET Paper 1 & Paper 2 Syllabus 2022
UPTET Syllabus 2022 has been released on the official website of the exam (http://updeled.gov.in/). The UPTET Syllabus for Paper-I and II consists of the list of subjects and subjects from which questions are to be asked in the Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates are advised to go through each and every topic of the syllabus to prepare well for the exam.
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification for Primary Level {Class 1 to 5th}
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks + 2 years Diploma in Education (D.Ed)
OR
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years BTC/CT (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)
OR
Bachelor’s degree + Special BTC. Training
OR
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh
OR
Bachelor’s degree + Diploma in Teaching (For Urdu Teacher)
Educational Qualification for Upper Primary level {Class 6 to 8th}:
Bachelor’s degree + BTC
OR
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed/B.Ed Special Education
OR
12th Passed with minimum of 50% marks + 4-year BA/BSCEd/BAEd
OR
12th Passed with minimum of 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed in Primary Education

UPTET Paper Pattern
Candidates, who have applied for both the papers, should appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The level of questions varies according to the group the candidate has applied for. Section wise division of each paper is given in the table below
UPTET Paper 1 Exam Pattern
- The duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours i.e. total 150 minutes.
- Paper-I will be conducted in offline mode.
- 150 multiple choice questions will be asked.
- Each question is of 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking for wrong answer or question without attempt.
