UPTET Paper Pattern
UPTET will be conducted in two different form- Paper 1 and Paper 2 Paper 1 is conducted for the candidates applying for the appointment of teacher for class 1 to 5. Whereas, Paper 2 is conducted for the appointment of teacher for class 6 to 8. UPTET Exam is conducted in offline mode. Objective type multiple choice questions are asked in the exam. There is no provision of negative marking in UPTET. Both the papers have 150 questions. Each question carries one mark. Each question has 4 options, out of which only 1 will be correct.

Candidates, who have applied for both the papers, should appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The level of questions varies according to the group the candidate has applied for. Section wise division of each paper is given in the table below
